International Exchange

From the principal

The exchange with St. Paul’s School, one of “The Nine” old-established public schools in England, started in 2009 with the help of the Jishukan Alumni Association. We made arrangements for sister schools in 2011, and St. Paul’s became the first sister school in our history. In addition, we made arrangements with St. Paul’s Girls’ School as well. Through the exchange visits and “International Science Conference by English and Japanese High School Students” in St. Paul’s School, we have been promoted to achieve one of our educational goals: “To bring up students who will be able to play an active role in the international arena.”

In November 2012, we made sister-school arrangements with Otto-von-Taube Gymnasium (OvTG). From that moment on, we have been endeavoring to improve the international exchange program between four schools, which has a great effect on our education. We expect all the students to make full use of the opportunities to be internationally-minded people who will play active roles all over the world in their future.
